About the Role

We are looking for a motivated Apprentice Jira Administrator to join our IT team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with foundational knowledge of Jira, Confluence, and Agile practices who is eager to build a career in Atlassian administration. You will work closely with senior administrators and business teams to support Jira and Confluence operations, ensuring smooth delivery of projects and ITSM processes.

What You Need

● Good communication skills (verbal & written)

● Understanding of user access management processes

● Knowledge or exposure to Agile methodologies

● Familiarity with Jira and Confluence (academic, project, or professional exposure)

● Basic understanding of ITSM practices

● Exposure to Dashboards and reporting tools

What You Will Do

● Assist in project creation and Jira workflow configurations

● Support user onboarding and offboarding in Jira

● Gather project requirements from stakeholders and assist in designing Jira projects to meet needs

● Configure Jira boards, filters, and dashboards for teams

● Collaborate with the IT team to maintain and enhance Jira and Confluence platforms

● Document configurations, processes, and best practices

● Provide first-level support for Jira-related queries

● Standard operating procedures creations

● collaborating with users and stakeholders
