Job Description Key Responsibilities - Design, develop, and maintain complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and views. - Optimize existing queries for performance and efficiency. - Collaborate with data analysts, developers, and stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into robust SQL solutions. - Design and implement ETL processes to move and transform data between systems. - Perform data validation, troubleshooting, and quality checks. - Maintain and improve existing databases, ensuring data integrity, security, and accessibility. - Document code, processes, and data models to support scalability and maintainability. - Monitor database performance and provide recommendations for improvement. - Work with BI tools and support dashboard/report development as needed. Requirements - 3+ years of proven experience as an SQL Developer or in a similar role. - Strong knowledge of SQL and relational database systems (i.e., MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle). - Experience with performance tuning and optimization. - Proficiency in writing complex queries and working with large datasets. - Experience with ETL tools and data pipeline creation - Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and BI reporting. - Solid understanding of database security, backup, and recovery. - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment. Nice To Have - Experience with cloud-based databases (AWS RDS, Google BigQuery, Azure SQL). - Knowledge of Python, Power BI, or other scripting/analytics tools. - Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments
