About the Role:

We are looking for a skilled SQL Developer to design, develop, and maintain high-performance databases that power our applications and analytics. The ideal candidate will be proficient in writing optimized queries, automating database operations, and collaborating with development teams to deliver reliable and scalable solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain SQL Server databases, tables, views, stored procedures, and other database objects.
  • Write, debug, and optimize complex queries for reporting, analytics, and application support.
  • Monitor and tune database performance using tools like SQL Profiler and Execution Plans.
  • Automate routine processes and maintenance tasks using SQL Server Agent Jobs.
  • Collaborate closely with application developers to integrate SQL logic within applications.
  • Participate in peer code reviews, unit testing, and deployment processes to ensure best practices and quality standards.

Required Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of T-SQL and SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS).
  • Hands-on experience with SQL Profiler, query tuning, and performance optimization.
  • Proficiency in creating and managing SQL Server Agent Jobs for task automation.
  • Solid understanding of database design principles and normalization.

Nice to Have (Optional):

  • Exposure to PostgreSQL.
  • Experience working in Agile development environments.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
