- Purchase Engineer MV LV Panel Manufacturer Job Objective To efficiently manage the procurement of electrical and mechanical components required for the manufacturing of MV Medium Voltage and LV Low Voltage panels ensuring cost-effectiveness quality and timely delivery Key Responsibilities Source and procure electrical items such as ACBs MCCBs MCBs contactors relays CT PTs VCBs cables terminals lugs etc Handle sheet metal busbar powder coating wiring accessories and insulation materials procurement Develop and maintain relationships with reliable and cost-effective suppliers Evaluate vendor performance on quality delivery and cost parameters Negotiate price terms and delivery schedules Understand BOM and production schedules to plan material requirements Coordinate with design and production teams for specifications and delivery timelines Maintain minimum stock levels and reorder levels Issue purchase orders and track delivery status Maintain all procurement records and ensure compliance with company policy Update purchase data in ERP software systems Work on cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality Prepare purchase budgets and monitor variances Ensure that all materials received meet technical and quality standards Coordinate with QC for incoming material inspection Qualifications Diploma B E B Tech in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering Certification in Supply Chain or Material Management is a plus Experience 2-5 years of relevant experience in the electrical panel manufacturing industry Skills Required Strong knowledge of electrical switchgear and components Good negotiation and communication skills Familiarity with ERP systems SAP Tally etc Analytical mindset and attention to detail Ability to read technical drawings specs Job Type Full-time Pay 25 000 00 - 39 073 57 per month Benefits Cell phone reimbursement Paid sick time Provident Fund Work from home Schedule Day shift Supplemental Pay Performance bonus Work Location In person
