Your Impact The role Lead Cloud Application Engineer is an individual contributor in Production Services team to maintain, finetune, optimize application deployment and usage based on efficient monitoring. You will focus on supporting applications and infrastructure for OpenText platforms. What The Role Offers - Be a hands-on technology leadership role - Self-reliant and proactive for technical excellence - Good communication skills and comfortable at working with teams in different geographic locations - Providing technical guidance to ensure high stability and availability of day-to-day operations - Eager to learn new technologies and grow to be subject matter expert when needed - Experience in monitoring cloud services What You Need To Succeed - 8+ years of experience in managing applications/system administrations. Degree in computer science or related is preferable. - Experience in managing Windows server, Linux server and VMware. Build, deploy, maintain and upgrade OS and applications in the Windows and Linux systems. - Understanding of software architecture and Microsoft Stack (.Net, C#, SQL and Azure). - Experience in automation software and scripting (batch, PowerShell, Ansible, Terraform, etc.) - Experience in monitoring software and scripting (New Relic, Zabbix, Nagios, PRTG, etc.) - Strong understanding of security, backup and recovery - Basic understanding of network protocols OpenText's efforts to build an inclusive work environment go beyond simply complying with applicable laws.
