Job Description Teamware Solutions is seeking an experienced SAP FICO Consultant to join our team. You'll be instrumental in the implementation, configuration, and support of SAP Finance (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules, ensuring robust financial processes, accurate reporting, and effective cost management for our clients. This role is ideal for a professional with deep functional expertise in both SAP FI and CO and a proven track record of delivering successful financial solutions within the SAP ERP landscape. Key Responsibilities - Module Configuration & Implementation: - Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of core SAP FI modules, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), Bank Accounting (BA), and New GL. - Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of core SAP CO modules, including Cost Center Accounting (CCA), Profit Center Accounting (PCA), Internal Orders, Product Costing (CO-PC), and Profitability Analysis (CO-PA). - Translate complex business requirements into effective SAP FICO solutions, ensuring alignment with best practices and financial regulations. - Perform system setup, master data configuration, and unit testing within the SAP ERP environment. - Solution Design & Optimization: - Develop and propose optimal solutions for enhancing financial accounting and controlling processes, leveraging standard SAP FICO functionalities. - Conduct workshops with business stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze gaps, and validate solution designs. - Identify opportunities for process automation and efficiency improvements within the financial landscape. - Support & Maintenance: - Provide expert-level functional support for SAP FICO post-implementation. - Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to financial postings, reconciliations, costing, and profitability. - Stay updated with SAP ECC/ERP patches, new features, and releases, assessing their impact and potential benefits. - Integration & Reporting: - Collaborate with other SAP module consultants (e.g., SD, MM, PP) and technical teams to ensure seamless integration points with SAP FICO. - Assist in the development of custom financial and controlling reports and analytics to meet statutory, management, and profitability reporting needs. - Documentation & Training: - Create and maintain comprehensive functional and technical documentation for configurations, processes, and solutions. - Develop and deliver training materials and sessions for end-users and key stakeholders. Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field. - Proven experience in implementing, configuring, and supporting both SAP FI and SAP CO modules. - Deep functional knowledge of SAP FI components: GL, AP, AR, AA, BA, and New GL. - Deep functional knowledge of SAP CO components: CCA, PCA, Internal Orders, CO-PC, and CO-PA. - Strong understanding of core financial accounting and controlling processes, principles, and best practices. - Experience with data migration strategies and tools within SAP. - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. - Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a team-oriented, client-facing environment. Preferred Skills - SAP FICO certification. - Basic understanding of ABAP debugging for issue analysis. - Prior experience in a consulting role leading full lifecycle SAP FICO implementations. - Knowledge of financial reporting standards (e.g., IFRS, GAAP).
