Migration Consultant – Windchill to 3DEXPERIENCE

We are looking for a highly skilled Migration Consultant with hands-on experience in Windchill to 3DEXPERIENCE data migration. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing data models, developing migration scripts, validating data integrity, and ensuring a smooth transition between platforms. Key Responsibilities: - Analyze and map Windchill data models to 3DEXPERIENCE structures. - Develop and maintain migration scripts or configure ETL tools for data transformation. - Conduct dry runs and mock migrations to ensure readiness. - Validate data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes. - Monitor migration logs to identify and resolve errors or exceptions. - Implement rollback and recovery procedures to ensure data integrity. - Collaborate with QA teams to define and execute validation checkpoints. - Document the entire migration process, including scripts, configurations, and test results. Technical Skills Required: - Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or equivalent. - Experience with ETL tools or custom migration frameworks. - In-depth knowledge of Windchill and 3DEXPERIENCE data models and architecture. - Familiarity with APIs like Windchill REST Services and 3DEXPERIENCE Web Services. - Strong skills in XML/JSON data handling and transformation. - Expertise in error handling, logging, and rollback strategies. Preferred Qualifications: - Experience in PLM system migrations or enterprise data transformation projects. - Knowledge of PLM business processes and data governance. - Certification in Dassault Systèmes or PTC Windchill platforms.
