Learn more at: inunity.in Role Overview The Lead Program Mentor is a senior leadership position responsible for overseeing the entire ecosystem of an assigned institution. This includes stakeholder management, operational excellence, team leadership, program delivery, business development, and ensuring institutional success through innovation-driven activities. You will be the primary representative of InUnity at the institutiondriving engagement, fostering innovation culture, and ensuring high-quality learning outcomes. Key Responsibilities: Institution Management & Stakeholder Engagement - Lead and manage all stakeholders of the assigned institution, including senior academic leaders, faculty, student bodies, and external partners. - Ensure smooth operations of the innovation lab/makerspace and all related facilities. - Establish strong relationships with the institution's management to drive program adoption and expansion. - Program Leadership & Delivery - Oversee end-to-end execution of all InUnity programs, including workshops, technical cohorts, innovation challenges, and maker sessions. - Conduct high-quality technical sessions, faculty development programs (FDPs), and Train-the-Trainer (TTT) workshops. - Ensure alignment of all activities with InUnity's curriculum, pedagogy, and quality standards. - Guide students through innovation journeysfrom problem identification to prototype development. - Team Management & Capacity Building - Lead, manage, and mentor a team of Program Mentors and Facilitators within the assigned institution and its spokes. - Create a performance-driven culture by setting expectations, monitoring outcomes, and providing continuous feedback. - Drive capability-building initiatives to ensure the team stays current with emerging technologies and tools. - Business Development & Growth - Manage spoke institutions and support program expansion across regions. - Identify and generate new leads, partnerships, and institutional opportunities. - Support business development teams in pitching, proposal creation, and client engagement. - Drive revenue-generating activities such as paid workshops, innovation cohorts, and corporate/institutional collaborations. - Operational Excellence - Oversee operational processes including resource planning, budgeting, scheduling, material management, and reporting. - Ensure periodic documentation of program progress, impact metrics, team performance, and institutional insights. - Submit regular progress reports, success stories, and analytical dashboards. - Innovation & Impact - Play a critical role in ensuring the institution actively participates in national and regional hackathons, tech events, and innovation competitionsand wins. - Identify and mentor students with entrepreneurial potential, connecting them with incubation pathways. - Support the development and refinement of student prototypes using rapid prototyping tools: - 3D Printing - Laser Cutting - CAD Modeling - Electronics - Microcontrollers (Arduino, Raspberry Pi) - Required Skills & Competencies - Strong technical foundation in prototyping, product development, and hands-on making. - Excellent communication and facilitation skills with the ability to engage both faculty and students. - Proven experience in leading teams and managing multi-stakeholder environments. - Strong business acumen with experience in program expansion, partnership building, and lead generation. - Ability to design, deliver, and evaluate large-scale educational and innovation programs. - A growth mindset with adaptability, curiosity, and passion for student development. - Willingness to travel extensively and relocate as per project requirements.
