For more details about General Mills please visit this Purpose of the role This role is crucial in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our compensation processes, from salary survey participation to data management and case management. This role requires a stro ng understanding of compensation principles, data analysis, and project management skills, with a focus on maintaining data integrity within our compensation systems (MarketPay and Mercer IPE). The analyst will support various compensation processes, including salary surveys and job evaluations, ensuring timely completion and contributing to improved efficiency. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES - Salary Surveys: Participate in salary surveys, manage timelines, track budgets and invoices, and ensure on-time submission with minimal vendor follow-up. Collaborate with Global Comp Programs & Processes Manager on survey strategy. - MarketPay and IPE Data Management: Maintain accurate and consistent data within MarketPay (MP) and Mercer IPE systems. This includes managing survey matches, weightings, notes, and participation flags auditing MP matches after new job profiles are created executing the annual MarketPay migration with new survey results maintaining updated IPE pay structures for all jobs and conducting annual IPE organizational sizing analysis. - Compensation Case Management: Serve as the primary intake for compensation cases, monitoring the HR Comp inbox. Provide reporting on job evaluation case status (SLA, time to close, count, etc.). Collaborate with Global Comp Consultants and the International Total Rewards Consultant to triage and streamline case assignment. - Other Compensation Support: Provide support to the Programs and Processes team during Annual Performance Reviews (APR), offering technical support to HR Direct and Senior Compensation Consultants. Conduct enterprise data analysis and act as a surge resource for job evaluations, supporting Compensation Consultants and Analysts. Key Partners: - Global Comp Programs & Processes Team - Global Comp Consultants - International Total Rewards Consultant Key Objectives: - Streamline survey participation and leverage MarketPay dashboards for insights. - Maintain clean and consistent data in MarketPay and IPE for job evaluation documentation and salary survey participation. - Streamline compensation case assignment and improve job evaluation tracking. - Support HR Direct and Compensation Analysts during APR and job evaluation processes. - Provide additional enterprise analysis as needed. QUALIFICATIONS - Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. - 5-7 years of experience in compensation or a related field. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools. - Experience with compensation systems (MarketPay experience preferred). - Excellent organizational and time management skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
