Job Description

Role- Analytics Consultant/Sr Consultant

Location- Bangalore/Chennai/Hyderabad/Noida(Hybrid)

Overview

We are seeking a hands-on CPG Analytics Consultant with strong expertise in data science/data analytics, statistical modelling, and commercial analytics. This role focuses on solving business challenges in Revenue Growth Management (RGM), Trade Promotion Effectiveness, and Pricing Optimization for global consumer goods clients.

You will be responsible for providing functional expertise, developing analytical models, and translating insights into business actions across sales, marketing, and commercial functions.

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement analytics solutions to optimize:

o Trade Promotions (ROI, uplift, cannibalization analysis)

o Revenue Growth Management (pack-price architecture, mix optimization, channel strategy)

o Pricing strategy (elasticity, price-pack analysis, discount optimization)

Use statistical techniques (regression, clustering, time series, forecasting) to develop models that support key commercial decisions.

Work with structured and syndicated data (e.g., POS, Nielsen/IRI, TPM systems).

Develop presentations, interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI / Tableau to visualize trends and KPIs.

Collaborate with client stakeholders and internal teams across analytics, data engineering, and domain consulting.

Required Skills

46 years of analytics consulting experience in the CPG or Retail domain.

Strong working knowledge of Revenue Growth Management (RGM), trade and pricing analytics.

Hands-on experience with Python or R for statistical analysis and modelling.

Proficient in SQL for data extraction, manipulation, and transformation.

Strong data visualization skills using Power BI or Tableau.

Solid understanding of sales, marketing, finance, and commercial planning in the CPG space.

Exposure to syndicated data platforms (e.g., Nielsen, IRI) is a plus.
