This position involves overseeing multiple teams, driving innovation in data solutions, and ensuring the alignment of data initiatives with broader business goals. Responsibilities Develop and execute the organization's data strategy, aligning it with business objectives. Lead and mentor a team of managers and senior managers in the data engineering and analytics domain. Collaborate with C-level executives to define and implement a data-driven culture across the organization. Evaluate and adopt emerging technologies to enhance data capabilities and drive innovation. Oversee large-scale data initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives. Establish and enforce data governance policies to ensure data quality, security, and compliance. Represent the data engineering and analytics function in strategic planning and decision-making processes. Education MINIMUM AND/OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: A bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science or a related field is expected. Master's degree or PhD in computer science or software engineering preferred. Experience 10-15 years of progressive experience in data engineering and analytics. Proven track record of leading successful data-driven initiatives at the organizational level. Strong leadership and strategic planning skills. SKILL REQUIREMENTS - - Advanced SQL Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in SQL and database performance tuning. - Database Management: Proficient in SQL and database management systems. - Cloud Foundation: Ability to leverage cloud-based services for data solutions. - Troubleshooting: Ability to troubleshoot data-related issues and ensure data quality. - Team Leadership: Proven experience leading a team of data engineers and analysts.
