It Business Intermediate Analyst

The IT Business Intermediate Analyst is an intermediate-level position responsible for liaising between business users and technologists to exchange information in a concise logical and understandable way in coordination with the Technology team The role is part of Citi s Third Party Source to Pay Technology team responsible to drive development and implementation of a global data warehouse system and analytical reporting tools The candidate must have Functional experience in data warehousing and Business Intelligence domain The person should be able to independently complete as well as provide input into various project documentations such as Business Functional Requirements Test Scripts Testing and Production Checkout Responsibilities Formulate and define systems scope and project objectives through research activities Analyze business client needs and document requirements by utilizing business analysis procedures and concepts Assess applicability of previous or similar experiences and evaluate options under circumstances not covered by procedures or precedents Identify risk and consider business implications of the application of technology to the current business environment Work as a team to accomplish objectives and define and make recommendations for enhancements Participate in validation and testing activities to identify system problems and perform other duties as assigned The candidate will be responsible for performing system analysis design and implementing solutions to meet complex business requirements Work collaboratively with Business stakeholders and other team members to document Business Functional requirements and translate into technical specifications Analyze different data sources create source to target mapping create data models Provide support for ad-hoc reporting and analytics create new reports utilizing tools like MicroStrategy and Tableau Lead participate in weekly production support related calls to review support tickets Provide timely user communications for any system related issues Participate in implementation of new analytical tools including POCs documenting results and recommendation of different tools in Business Intelligence domain Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made demonstrating particular consideration for the firm s reputation and safeguarding Citigroup its clients and assets by driving compliance with applicable laws rules and regulations adhering to Policy applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior conduct and business practices and escalating managing and reporting control issues with transparency Qualifications 3-5 years of relevant experience Experience in re-engineering data analysis and project management support Exhibit strong communications and interpersonal skills Must have excellent analytical problem-solving and decision-making skills Knowledge of business systems and industry standards Strong knowledge about Data Warehousing concepts and principle and ETL process Prior experience working in Data Warehousing environment is a plus Hands on experience with reporting tools like MicroStrategy Cognos Tableau Candidate must possess strong SQL writing skills in Oracle or equivalent relational database platform Proven interpersonal skills to develop working relationships Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and approach work methodically with attention to detail Proven self-motivation to take initiative and master new tasks quickly Knowledge of Oracle eBusiness Suite applications and different modules AP PO Requisition EGL including table structures and data flows is a plus Prior experience working in Citi in a similar environment and familiarity with Citi s financial systems Education Bachelor s degree University degree or equivalent experience Job Family Group Technology Job Family Business Analysis Client Services Time Type Full time Most Relevant Skills Please see the requirements listed above Other Relevant Skills For complementary skills please see above and or contact the recruiter Citi is an equal opportunity employer and qualified candidates will receive consideration without regard to their race color religion sex sexual orientation gender identity national origin disability status as a protected veteran or any other characteristic protected by law If you are a person with a disability and need a reasonable accommodation to use our search tools and or apply for a career opportunity review View Citi s and the poster
