Job Description Job Description We are looking for a skilled and self-driven WLAN Test Engineer with strong hands-on experience in 802.11 standards and network testing. The ideal candidate must have solid understanding of wireless technologies, experience in performance testing, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities - Perform WLAN testing with strong hands-on experience in IEEE 802.11 standards. - Conduct performance testing including throughput, latency, and stability tests. - Execute detailed testing of networking features and protocols. - Develop and execute test cases, test plans, and test scripts. - Work with traffic generators, protocol analyzers, sniffers, and other test tools. - Use automation frameworks and contribute to test automation as needed. - Diagnose issues, perform root-cause analysis, and provide detailed reports. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality product releases. - Bring innovative ideas to enhance test efficiency and coverage. Required Skills - Strong hands-on experience with WLAN / Wi-Fi technologies and 802.11 protocols. - Good understanding of networking fundamentals. - Experience in performance testing (Throughput & Latency). - Knowledge of Python and Shell scripting (preferred). - Experience working with: - Traffic generators - Sniffers / protocol analyzers - Test automation tools - Test management tools - Ability to work independently with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Innovative mindset with ability to think creatively and improve testing processes. Preferred Attributes - Strong ownership and proactive attitude. - Good communication and documentation skills. - Ability to adapt and work in a dynamic environment
