prescribed medications and treatments using correct methods of administration and adheres to policy 6 R s of medication 2 identifiers allergic history double check for applicable medicines admixtures outside medication self medication policy etc Accurately maintains medications administration record Monitors the patient post administration and reports any adverse events and accurately completes the ADR forms Demonstrates safe storage and control of medication Evaluates and documents patient response to medication regimenImplements the waste management policy Is knowledgeable of action side Awareness of the Cath Lab protocols and the lay out Supervises carbolization and ensures it is done regularly and effectively Demonstrates skill in identifying instruments as per the procedure checks cleanliness and proper functioning of instruments packs and sends for autoclaving gas sterilization Ensures all the materials needed for the procedure instruments sets linen gown etc are available Ensures the preparation of the patient for cleanliness skin shaving for the particular procedure Ensures the identity of the patient checks consent is obtained before proceeding the procedure Demonstrates skill in assisting the doctor for the procedure Ensures the patient is cleaned after applying the dressing and provides a comfortable position Is knowledgeable to watch for haematoma and pedal pulse Documents vital signs and nursing intervention during the procedure and after the completion of the procedure Ensures the patient is shifted safely to the recovery room Demonstrates ability to identify arrhythmias and cardiac arrest Demonstrates skill in CPR the use of emergency drugs and other drugs used in Cath Lab Demonstrates skill in handling Bio-medical equipments Demonstrates skill on implementation of infection control measures Ensures patient is shifted to the CCU Ward safely and handover all the documents Demonstrates skill on patient and family education regarding the procedure
