Check Point is leading the next paradigm shift in cloud security and is looking for an experienced *CSP Partner Development Manager to develop relationships and drive the success of our field partnerships with cloud service providers (*CSPs) including AWS, Microsoft and Google and their partners. As the INDIA Cloud Partner Development Manager within Check Point, you will have the exciting opportunity to deliver on our strategy through building alignment with AWS, Microsoft and Google APAC teams, driving mindshare and evangelizing our priority initiatives.
Responsibilities include diving our joint INDIA-focused *CSP & Check Point Partner Development plans and managing the strategic field relationships, keeping the focus on the agreed upon priorities. This includes driving executive sales alignment, product team alignment, marketing support, field and channel relationships, tracking progress and driving enablement. By establishing and growing business and technical relationships, along with managing the day-to-day interactions, you will help drive top-line revenue growth, deep partner engagement, and overall market adoption. The ideal candidate will possess a business background that enables them to engage at an executive level, CSPs in INDIA experience, as well as a sales background that enables them to easily interact with enterprise sales executives and channels. A demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, products, and technical challenges, with the ability to build and convey compelling value propositions and Go-To-Market plans are important skills. In addition, the candidates with a strong technical acumen, hands-on experience working with large global (INDIA-based) conglomerates, along with working knowledge of Cloud infrastructure architecture and the enterprise software landscape.
*CSP- Cloud Service Provider includes AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform.
Major Responsibilities
- Develop and execute joint-field business development plans with the Check Point APAC *CSP Alliance lead and India Regional SaaS Business Unit strategic goals, tracking progress toward achieving the target partner&aposs market opportunities and ensuring alignment with the Check Point CSP alliance&aposs strategic direction.
- Focus primarily on engaging with AWS (^DSOR & CPPO), Microsoft & Google selected partners.
- Conduct partner&aposs sales enablement, certification plans, partner marketing, and Marketplace Private Offers process to ensure CSP partners are positioned to deliver successful customer sales engagement and implementation.
- Build a strong day-to-day people engagement & drive quarterly business cadence.
- Co-present at *CSP&aposs partner activities to increase awareness of Check Point Cloud security solutions.
- Monitor and ensure that respective departments in Check Point promptly resolve all partner escalations.
- Co-create and drive-up marketplace pipeline with DSOR and Partners
- Collaborate closely with CloudGuard Pre-sales, Cloud Security Solution Architects; and SaaS Business Unit Overlays to create and drive revenue opportunities for all parties.
- Engage the India-focused leadership team, prepare, and give the management team regular India *CSP Partner Development reviews.
Desired Background
- Prior INDIA-based *CSP Partner Development Management experience is beneficial
- Experience working with *CSPs to develop Go to Market (GTM) programs around co-sell and marketplace, especially in INDIA
- 10-12 years of experience in IT security sales and managing global enterprise accounts and/or channel partnerships
- MEDPICC knowledge is an advantage
- 10-12 years of business development experience in the software/technology industry
- Strong presentation and writing skills and the ability to articulate complex concepts to cross-functional audiences
- Good technical acumen, with a demonstrated track record of driving emerging/disruptive technologies like open-source software, virtualization
- Ability to think and work creatively to develop unique joint value propositions and product strategy between *CSPs, Check Point and our customers
- Must be eligible to work in India, Mumbai/Bengaluru/Delhi without sponsorship from an employer now or in the future.
