Job Description - Job Title : Sr. Software Engineer B2 - Job Summary : We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Software Engineer with 8 to 10 years of experience in Visual Basic .NET and Visual Basic specializing in Property & Casualty Insurance. The role involves developing and maintaining software solutions that enhance our insurance services. The position is hybrid offering a blend of remote and in-office work with no travel required. Join us to make a significant impact in the insurance technology landscape. - Experience : 8 - 10 years - Required Skills : Technical Skills: Visual Basic .NET Visual Basic Domain Skills:Property & Casualty Insurance - Nice to have skills : Domain Skills: - Technology : Custom Service - Shift : Day - Responsibilities : - Develop and maintain robust software applications using Visual Basic .NET and Visual Basic to support our Property & Casualty Insurance services. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design implement and optimize software solutions that meet business requirements. - Analyze user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility and design within time and cost constraints. - Provide technical guidance and support to junior developers ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices. - Conduct thorough testing and debugging of applications to ensure high-quality software delivery. - Implement software enhancements and suggest improvements to existing systems to increase efficiency and effectiveness. - Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge with team members. - Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to incorporate innovative solutions into our software development process. - Ensure software documentation is comprehensive and up-to-date for future reference and training purposes. - Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and refine requirements ensuring alignment with business goals. - Monitor application performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal functionality and user satisfaction. - Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and methodologies. - Support the deployment of applications and provide post-deployment support to resolve any issues.
