About Us

FandomWire is a leading platform for entertainment, anime, and gaming content, with a growing presence across multiple social media channels. We are looking for Social Media Interns who are passionate about fandom culture and want to gain hands-on experience in managing and growing digital communities.

Role Overview

As a Social Media Intern, you will work closely with our Social Media Head to manage and post content across FandomWires dedicated pages. You should have a strong interest in the kind of content we cover (Hollywood entertainment, anime, and gaming), an eye for trending topics, and basic design skills on Canva for quick creatives when needed. This is a paid internship for a minimum of 6 months, with opportunities to gain valuable industry experience.

Key Responsibilities

- Post and manage content across FandomWires official social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, X, YouTube, etc.) as directed by the Social Media Head.
- Keep up with the latest trends, memes, and conversations in Hollywood entertainment, anime, and gaming to make content more engaging.
- Assist in scheduling posts, ensuring content goes live on time and consistently.
- Create basic social media creatives using Canva when required (a design team is available for advanced work).
- Monitor engagement, share audience insights, and suggest trending content ideas.
- Coordinate with the Social Media Head and Content Team to align posts with campaigns, launches, and publishing schedules.

Requirements

- Strong passion for entertainment, anime, and gaming culture.
- Basic understanding of social media platforms and how posting, scheduling, and engagement work.
- Basic design skills in Canva (ability to create simple posts if required).
- Ability to follow instructions, work under deadlines, and stay consistent with posting.
- Good communication and organizational skills.

Preferred

- Previous experience managing or interning on social media accounts/pages.
- Knowledge of social media trends, hashtags, and audience engagement strategies.

- Internship Duration: 6 months minimum
- Schedule: 6 days a week, fixed Sunday off
