Java Technical Lead

Job Description We are seeking a talented individual to join our Marsh Tech team. This role will be based in Mumbai. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office. Java Technical Lead What can you expect - Working on Java application development - Create and deploy green field and brownfield application/product - Manage inhouse technical teams and also vendor teams - Stakeholder Management - People Management - Work on APIGEE, DataDog - Test automation - Work on solutions which will be used by multiple geographies/countries We will count on you to: - Should have lead a team of at least 10 people and have good people management skills - Be able to improve architecture and modernize monolithic Java applications - Worked in an Agile team - Ability to help the stakeholders foresee a future problems with the solution for end users and help avoid the same - Increase the speed of development by intelligent planning, use of AI tools, smart development approaches & people planning and management skills - Work along with developers, Tech leads, BA's, Business stakeholders, QA team support team, Data engineers to ensure successful project - A team player who is proud when the team succeeds - Involved in critical decisions but not all decisions - Able to empower team members to make decisions - Available and approachable, a mediator of technical decisions - End-2-End perspective on the projects executed - Ability to get into details when needed and ability to summarize for management and ability to effectively manage or assign risks to appropriate owner What you need to have: - Overall 12+ Years in total of experience in developing Java applications - Minimum 4+ years in leading teams technically and also at least 4 years as Project Manager - B.E/B.Tech/ MCA/ M.Tech What makes you stand out - Created and delivered AI functionality in application for users to use - Successfully led tech teams to build IT Products at fast pace.
