Requirements
We are seeking an accomplished and dynamic Sales Manager with 10+ years of experience in sales to lead and drive business growth in the rapidly evolving Electric Vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, and driving revenue growth through the sale of EV charging solutions to both B2B and B2C clients. This role requires a strong background in solution-based sales, business development, and key account management, preferably in the EV, renewable energy, or technology infrastructure industries.
This is a unique opportunity for a seasoned sales leader to make a significant impact in the fast-growing EV ecosystem, helping to build the charging infrastructure that will power the future of mobility.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Development & Sales Growth
- Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities in the EV charging sector.
- Drive revenue growth by selling EV chargers, charging solutions, and associated services to corporate, institutional, and retail clients.
- Build and manage a healthy sales pipeline and consistently achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Strategic Partnerships & Alliances
- Develop strong relationships with stakeholders including real estate developers, fleet operators, automobile OEMs, commercial establishments, government bodies, and energy providers.
- Explore strategic alliances with technology providers, EPC contractors, and channel partners.
- Negotiate and close long-term contracts that support business expansion.
- Customer Engagement & Account Management
- Understand client requirements and provide tailored EV charging solutions.
- Lead product presentations, demonstrations, and proposals to prospective customers.
- Ensure exceptional customer experience by addressing queries, resolving concerns, and maintaining post-sales relationships.
- Market Analysis & Strategy
- Track industry trends, competitor offerings, and regulatory developments in the EV charging space.
- Provide market intelligence and insights to senior management for strategic decision-making.
- Contribute to pricing strategies, product positioning, and go-to-market plans.
- Collaboration & Team Leadership
- Work closely with marketing, operations, and technical teams to deliver end-to-end EV charging solutions.
- Provide inputs to product teams for enhancements based on customer feedback and market needs.
- Mentor junior sales executives and contribute to building a high-performing sales organization.
Skills & Experience
- 10+ years of proven sales experience in infrastructure, energy, automotive, technology, or related industries.
- Strong track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in a competitive market.
- Demonstrated expertise in solution selling, consultative sales, and strategic negotiations.
- Excellent relationship management skills with C-level executives and large accounts.
- Understanding of EV ecosystem, renewable energy, or charging infrastructure is highly desirable.
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-driven, entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field; MBA preferred.
