Lead Noc Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented IT Infrastructure Monitoring NOC Operations Specialist to support and manage enterprise-level monitoring solutions lead incident response efforts and ensure the availability and performance of critical IT systems The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise a proactive mindset and a commitment to operational excellence Key Responsibilities Develop maintain and enhance enterprise-wide frameworks for monitoring applications servers and services Install configure upgrade and maintain monitoring tools such as SCOM CA UIM SolarWinds Nagios LogicMonitor and associated hardware Lead complex troubleshooting initiatives and perform root cause analysis for major incidents Automate routine monitoring tasks and operational processes to improve efficiency Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date documentation for systems and monitoring procedures across multiple teams Evaluate recommend and implement new monitoring architectures systems and tools Collaborate with vendors to manage service packs patches and updates to ensure system security and optimal performance Oversee NOC Network Operations Center operations ensuring adherence to internal processes procedures and SLAs Effectively manage priorities and deadlines in a dynamic environment while contributing ideas for continuous improvement Technical Skills Competencies Expertise in administration integration and optimization of enterprise monitoring tools Experience integrating monitoring events into broader network management ecosystems e g SolarWinds SCOM Ability to create custom reports and dashboards on system availability and performance as per stakeholder requirements Strong command of Windows and Linux operating systems including core system administration and scripting Solid understanding of network protocols routing switching and infrastructure topologies Proficiency in performance monitoring debugging and enterprise-level ing and reporting Experience working in high-availability SLA-driven environments Familiarity with designing and supporting distributed systems to meet reliability and scalability objectives Soft Skills Attributes Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail Effective verbal and written communication skills able to convey complex technical issues clearly Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and manage competing priorities Demonstrated ability to lead collaborate and influence across teams Proactive results-driven and adaptable to fast-changing environments High integrity urgency and a sense of ownership in all responsibilities Qualifications Experience Bachelors degree in Information Technology Computer Science or a related field or equivalent experience Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience administering one or more enterprise monitoring tools CA UIM SolarWinds SCOM LogicMonitor AppDynamics DataDog etc Minimum 5 years of IT infrastructure support experience across heterogeneous environments servers storage and networks 3 years of professional experience supporting Windows and Linux systems in production environments Experience working within NOC operations and familiarity with NOC procedures and SLAs Skills Noc Operations Monitoring Troubleshooting About Company UST is a global digital transformation solutions provider For more than 20 years UST has worked side by side with the worlds best companies to make a real impact through transformation Powered by technology inspired by people and led by purpose UST partners with their clients from design to operation With deep domain expertise and a future-proof philosophy UST embeds innovation and agility into their clients organizations With over 30 000 employees in 30 countries UST builds for boundless impactxe2x80x94touching billions of lives in the process
