Senior Delivery Manager

Job Description Ciklum is looking for a Senior Delivery Manager to join our team full-time in India. About the role: As a Senior Delivery Manager, become a part of a cross-functional development team engineering experiences of tomorrow, you will manage the day-to-day operations of Agile teams, facilitating SAFe Agile ceremonies and driving innovation through domain-driven development to refine products and applications in prepaid services and payments. You will coach teams on story points-based estimation, manage RAG (Red, Amber, Green) dashboards, and promote continuous improvement. Unlike the Delivery Manager, who oversees the overall engagement, you will focus on team-level execution, ensuring alignment with project goals and fostering strong client interfacing. Responsibilities: - Facilitate Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, etc.) using SAFe Agile frameworks to refine products and applications - Coach teams on story points-based estimation, backlog grooming, and domain-driven development practices - Develop and maintain RAG dashboards to track team progress, risks, and issues, ensuring transparency - Drive innovation by promoting Agile practices that enhance client solutions in prepaid services and payments - Run workshops, brown bag sessions, and training to foster Agile principles and mindset - Identify and address anti-patterns, ensuring healthy Agile practices within delivery teams - Collaborate with stakeholders to align on project goals, scope, and deliverables, fostering strong client relationships - Drive technical discussions, leveraging your technical background to bridge gaps between technical and non-technical teams - Assess Agile maturity and develop tailored coaching plans for teams and individuals - Use tools like Atlassian Jira/Confluence to track progress, manage workflows, and report team status Requirements: - 3+ years of experience as a Scrum Master in an Agile transformation environment - Deep expertise in SAFe Agile frameworks, agile ceremonies, story points-based estimation, and domain-driven development - Experience developing and managing RAG dashboards for team performance and risk tracking - Technical background in software development, QA, or DevOps, with the ability to drive technical discussions - Good knowledge of Atlassian Jira/Confluence for workflow management and reporting - Awareness of prepaid services or payments domain technologies (e.g., AWS, timeseries data, or payment systems) - Strong understanding of the impact and interplay of systems to ensure cohesive team delivery - Strong client-interfacing, facilitation, and negotiation skills - Excellent leadership and coaching skills to guide teams and individuals - Advanced level of spoken and written English - Willingness to work in a hybrid model (3 days work-from-office, 2 days work-from-home in Pune) - Early joiners preferred to accelerate project delivery Desirable: - Experience with timeseries databases (e.g., KDB/Q) or public cloud (AWS) - Accredited Agile practitioner (e.g., SAFe Agilist, Certified ScrumMaster) - Experience coaching distributed teams in prepaid services or payments domains - Familiarity with modern software development trends and tools What`s in it for you - Strong community: Work alongside top professionals in a friendly, open-door environment - Growth focus: Take on large-scale projects with a global impact and expand your expertise - Tailored learning: Boost your skills with internal events (meetups, conferences, workshops), Udemy access, language courses, and company-paid certifications - Endless opportunities: Explore diverse domains through internal mobility, finding the best fit to gain hands-on experience with cutting-edge technologies - Care: We've got you covered with company-paid medical insurance, mental health support, and financial & legal consultations About us: At Ciklum, we are always exploring innovations, empowering each other to achieve more, and engineering solutions that matter.
