We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Lead Java Developer to drive the technical direction and execution of our core platforms. The Role As a Java Developer, you will be an integral part of our engineering team, involved in the design, development, testing, and deployment of Java-based applications. You will collaborate closely with senior developers and architects to build scalable, high-performance solutions that power mission-critical financial systems. This role provides a great opportunity to grow your technical skills and gain exposure to enterprise-grade software development practices. Key Responsibilities Application Development: - Design, develop, and maintain Java applications using modern frameworks like Spring and Spring Boot. - Implement RESTful APIs and integrate with internal and external systems. Code Quality & Standards: - Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following coding standards and best practices. - Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Software Lifecycle Management: - Contribute to all phases of the software development lifecycle — analysis, coding, testing, deployment, and maintenance. - Support debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization efforts. Collaboration & Problem Solving: - Work closely with cross-functional teams including QA, DevOps, and Product Management. - Apply analytical thinking to resolve technical challenges and deliver high-quality solutions on time. Required Skills & Experience Experience: - 3 to 4 years of hands-on experience in Java development. Technical Skills (Must-Have): - Proficiency in Core Java, J2EE, Spring, and Spring Boot frameworks. - Experience in developing and consuming RESTful Web Services. - Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), Multithreading, and Collections Framework. - Good understanding of software design principles and patterns. Good to Have: - Experience with Microservices architecture. - Familiarity with Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and CI/CD pipelines. - Exposure to SQL and NoSQL databases. Behavioral & Enabling Skills - Communication: Clear verbal and written communication to collaborate with team members and stakeholders. - Attention to Detail: Strong commitment to producing reliable, high-quality software. - Teamwork & Learning Agility: Willingness to learn, adapt, and contribute effectively in a team environment.
