Willing to work in Mandya or Mysore Karnataka India About the Client Founded in 2005 our company has grown into one of the world s largest suitcase manufacturers recognized as the first and only luggage company listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange SCSE With a global turnover of RMB 3 billion in 2023 we are a leading player in the B2B and B2C markets We have established strong partnerships with global brands like adidas Nike Uniqlo Puma and Decathlon providing a wide range of bags luggage and apparel Our manufacturing hubs are based in China India and Indonesia and we are the global market leader in IT suitcases On the B2C front we operate successful brands catering to the youth travel segment and have consistently ranked as the top seller in the luggage category during major shopping events With a strong presence in international markets and continuous expansion through mergers and acquisitions we remain committed to innovation and delivering high-quality products worldwide We are seeking an experienced and driven Production Manager to lead our manufacturing operations ensuring that production targets are met efficiently and on time As the Production Manager you will be responsible for overseeing production scheduling managing day-to-day operations and driving improvements in efficiency quality and cost-effectiveness You will implement and maintain 5S standards focus on continuous process improvements and ensure the highest level of product quality across all production lines The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills a keen eye for process optimization and a track record of managing production teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment You will play a key role in achieving our business goals by aligning production output with company objectives and ensuring smooth operations across all areas of the production process Key Responsibilities Production Planning Execution Develop and implement annual monthly and weekly production plans ensuring that production capacity meets company goals Organize teams to meet production schedules and optimize resource allocation Operational Efficiency Oversee the daily management of production lines focusing on workflow optimization resolving bottlenecks and improving productivity Ensure efficient use of labor and equipment to maximize production output 5S Cost Management Lead the implementation and maintenance of 5S standards on the production floor ensuring a clean organized and safe working environment Drive cost-reduction initiatives by minimizing waste controlling expenses and improving overall labor productivity Quality Control Continuous Improvement Supervise quality control processes throughout the production cycle to ensure consistency and compliance with standards Promote continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production processes and product quality Team Leadership Development Lead and manage production teams providing clear communication of goals and expectations Foster a collaborative and accountable work environment and ensure ongoing training and development of staff Qualifications Willing to work in Mandya or Mysore Karnataka India Fluency in both Chinese and English is required Bachelor s degree or higher Experience Minimum of 5 years of experience in production management preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting Leadership Proven ability to lead and manage production teams with a strong track record of improving operational performance Technical Knowledge Solid understanding of production planning workflow optimization and quality control processes Organizational Skills Strong ability to manage multiple priorities meet deadlines and ensure smooth operations across all production activities Communication Skills Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to motivate and engage teams Attention to Detail A data-driven approach with a focus on continuous improvement cost control and maintaining high-quality standards
