Job Title Assistant General Manager Sales Location Jaipur Frequent travel to working areas required Department Sales Business Development Key Responsibilities Strategic Sales Leadership Develop and execute regional sales strategies aligned with the company s objectives for organic fertilizers and botanical pesticides Drive sales growth by identifying new markets customers and partnerships Ensure consistent achievement of sales targets across all working areas Market Outreach Client Engagement Travel frequently to working areas to connect with distributors retailers and end-users farmers Conduct product presentations demonstrations and training sessions to highlight the benefits of Terra Agro Biotech s products Act as the face of the company in key markets fostering trust and long-term relationships with clients Team Management Development Lead mentor and manage the performance of regional sales teams Provide training and guidance to enhance team productivity and product knowledge Conduct regular field visits to monitor and support team activities Market Analysis Reporting Gather market intelligence on competitor products pricing and strategies Prepare and present detailed sales reports highlighting performance challenges and actionable recommendations Collaborate with the leadership team to adjust strategies based on market insights Operational Excellence Ensure adherence to all company policies compliance requirements and ethical practices Optimize sales processes and streamline operations to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction Qualifications Skills Bachelor s or Master s degree in Agriculture Business Administration Marketing or related fields 8 years of experience in sales with at least 3 years in a managerial role preferably in the agricultural inputs industry Strong understanding of organic fertilizers botanical pesticides and sustainable farming solutions Proven track record in achieving and exceeding sales targets Excellent leadership communication and negotiation skills Proficiency in using CRM software and advanced MS Office skills Willingness to travel extensively and work in diverse agricultural markets
