Job Description

Position Summary

The Finance Manager will oversee the preparation and finalization of financial accounts (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow Statements, and associated schedules) and ensure compliance with statutory and legal requirements. Responsibilities include financial planning, analysis, MIS reporting, and day-to-day financial operations such as invoicing, collections, banking, and budget management.

Key Responsibilities

- Financial Planning and Analysis:
- Develop financial plans, manage working capital and cash flow.
- Identify cost-control measures and implement cost-effective systems.
- Conduct profitability analysis (entity/region/branch/customer-wise) and budget management.
- Analyze and provide insights on new business opportunities.

Operational Finance:

- Manage accounting and control processes, including invoicing and collections.
- Oversee debtor management and credit control to ensure timely receivables.
- Monitor revenue, ensure timely invoicing, and manage accounts payable.

MIS and Compliance:

- Provide MIS reports and inputs for annual operating plans (AOP).
- Maintain financial records per Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Attend statutory audits and ensure timely completion.
- Comply with tax regulations and ensure timely payment and return submissions (Income Tax, TDS, VAT, Service Tax).

Strategic Contributions:

- Suggest development plans for cost-effective operations.
- Prepare and monitor business models for annual budgeting.
- ERP and Inventory Management:
- Use ERP tools to monitor inventory movements and financial activities.
