Job Title: Laravel Developer

Overview:

We are looking for a highly skilled and resourceful Laravel Developer to join our development team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Laravel, PHP, and MySQL, with a passion for building robust and scalable web applications. You will be responsible for both backend and some frontend development tasks, as well as collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, test, and maintain scalable web applications using Laravel and PHP.
- Implement new features, improve existing functionality, and ensure application performance and responsiveness.
- Write clean, secure, and well-documented code following Laravel best practices.
- Work closely with business analysts or stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Troubleshoot and debug applications to optimize performance.
- Maintain and manage MySQL databases including design, queries, and performance tuning.
- Collaborate with front-end developers on UI/UX implementation using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
- Document technical specifications and development processes.

Required Qualifications

- 3+ years of professional experience in PHP development, with a strong focus on the Laravel framework.
- Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) and MVC architecture.
- Proficiency in front-end technologies: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (Vue.js experience is a plus).
- Experience working with MySQL databases, including complex queries and performance optimization.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and third-party integrations.
- Experience with version control systems (Git).
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Nice to Have

- Experience with Laravel Livewire, Inertia.js, or Vue.js.
- Familiarity with testing frameworks like PHPUnit or Pest.
- Knowledge of DevOps tools, CI/CD pipelines, or cloud hosting (e.g., AWS, DigitalOcean).
- Basic understanding of data analysis or business intelligence tools.
