Job Description As a Shopify Architect, you will be responsible for designing, building, and deploying eCommerce solutions using Shopify and related technologies. You will work alongside cross-functional teams, ensuring that our clients receive innovative and effective solutions that enhance their online presence and sales performance. Key Responsibilities - Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of Shopify projects, ensuring high performance, scalability, and security. - Collaborate with project managers, designers, and developers to deliver tailored eCommerce solutions that meet client requirements. - Stay up-to-date with Shopify updates, trends, and best practices to provide strategic recommendations for platform use. - Ensure the quality of code through code reviews and best practices in software development. - Develop custom themes and applications using Liquid templating language and Shopify's API. - Engage with clients to understand their business needs and propose effective eCommerce strategies. - Document architecture designs, development processes, and configurations for future reference. - Architect and develop scalable Shopify solutions, ensuring optimal performance, security, and maintainability. - Lead the technical implementation of Shopify Plus, including custom theme development, app integrations, and performance optimization. - Collaborate with stakeholders (business, design, and development teams) to gather requirements and translate them into technical solution - Integrate Shopify with third-party systems (ERP, CRM, Payment Gateways, and Marketing tools). - Ensure compliance with best practices in security, performance, and accessibility. - Mentor and guide developers on Shopify best practices and technical solutions. Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. - Minimum of 8 years of experience in eCommerce development, specifically with Shopify. - Strong experience in Shopify architecture, theme customization, and Shopify App development. - Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Liquid. - Experience with RESTful APIs and integration with external systems. - Knowledge of SEO best practices for eCommerce websites. - Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders. - Strong verbal and written communication skills.
