Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for an Assistant Payroll Manager located in Ahmedabad. The Assistant Payroll Manager will oversee payroll processing, manage employee compensation, handle payroll taxes, and ensure compliance with local regulations. They will support payroll administration tasks, manage employee benefits, and address payroll-related inquiries. Additional duties may include auditing payroll processes to ensure accuracy and assisting in the implementation of payroll systems and policies. Qualifications - Experience in Payroll Administration and Payroll Management, with the ability to ensure accurate and timely payroll processes. - Knowledge of Garnishments and Payroll Taxes, including compliance with tax regulations and deduction handling. - Familiarity with Employee Benefits administration and the ability to manage related processes effectively. - Strong analytical skills and attention to detail with proficiency in relevant payroll software. - Excellent organizational and communication skills to collaborate with employees and other departments. - Prior experience in a similar role is preferred, and a Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field is advantageous.
