Job Description

Hard Goods Designer - no minm work ex required for freshers or minm 3-4 years experience for experienced ( we have openings in both )

Product Profile - worked in hard goods - wood, metal , glass ( lamps , wall decor , knobs and hooks , window hardware , seasonal products , kitchen items, fabrics etc )

Education - Graduation in Design - Preferably NIFT ( lifestyle and accessory design only )

*NO GRAPHIC/UI-UX DESIGNERS NEEDED*

Location - Noida Sector 63

Rockwater - Home and Living is a 30 year old, leading manufacturing government star recognised export house working in hard goods - lighting , window hardware , knobs and hooks , wall decor , macrame , seasonal products etc .

Our 100+ team works for major retailers across the world exporting to 20+ countries.

JOB PROFILE:

Some experience in Product Design in Hard goods exports industry is appreciated. Also having your own vendor network is must preferably in wooden and metal items ( saranpur , moradabad , firozabad , jodhpur , jaipur ) etc.

Proficiency in design softwares such as Illustrator , Adobe, Corel Draw etc.- and the ability to make good CADS is a must . Understanding trend sheets , designs, studying USA , Europe markets and making necessary designs for relevant buyers.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to co-ordinate with cross-functional teams & vendors to articulate design concepts of products and packaging as per buyers&apos guidelines.

Relevant experience with mixed materials like wood, glass, metal, natural stones is preferred.

Passion for innovation, creativity, and staying abreast of design trends in the hard goods industry.

Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.

A strong portfolio showcasing design skills, creativity, and attention to detail
