We are seeking a
Product Designer - Executive

who will play a crucial role in understanding mood boards,trend forecasting, ideating, and developing innovative home decor & small furniture concepts for the US and European market 

The responsibilities will extend to conducting thorough market trend research, creating practical designs in alignment with the given brief, visits to the factory and collaborating with cross-functional teams
to integrate design concepts into final products seamlessly
.

The candidate will utilize the skills in sketching, graphics and 3D design software to develop concepts, renderings, and technical CAD drawings, contributing to the overall design process. Additionally, stay informed about emerging designs and technologies to enhance design processes continually and have zeal to learn.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Research & Trend forecasting:

• Understanding on latest market trends.Ability to forecast for upcoming seasons.Thorough understanding of design styles and attributes and able to create moodboards based on the trends

Design Conceptualization:

• Conceptualize and create innovative home decor & furniture products which are practical to manufacture and aligns with the given brief, able to meet quick deadlines

Technical Design:

• Develop realistic renderings and technical CAD drawings using graphic and 3D design software.

Manufacturing Understanding:

• Maintain a keen understanding of manufacturing processes, cost constraints, and feasibility to ensure practicality in product design.

Quality Assurance:

• Review and share feedback on product samples to ensure they meet design requirements, quality standards, functionality, and buyers' expectations.

Factory visits:

• Able to make Frequent Visits to the factories for product selections & sample review & feedback.

Visual Presentations

• Create compelling visual presentations to effectively communicate design concepts.

Collaboration:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of design concepts into final products.

Continuous Learning:

• Stay abreast of emerging designs, trends, and technologies to continually enhance design processes and workflows.

Qualifications

Technical skills:

• Rapid Design Execution : Skilled at swiftly developing designs based on the given brief and working on tight deadlines.
• Creativity:

Generate original and innovative design concepts that are functional and practical.
- Sketching/digital drawing
- Technical Drawing:

Skills in creating detailed technical CAD drawings for production.
- Material Knowledge

: Understanding of different materials, their properties, and applications and basic knowledge of wood working.
