About the Role
At Uber, we connect millions of trips through the platform every day, with each trip representing an interaction between Earners (Drivers & Couriers) and Consumers (Rides & Eaters). The Earner Metrics team focuses on improving service quality on our platform, with multiple areas of focus:
1. Understand how various actions have impact to outcomes for all constituents in our marketplace
2. Provide channels for Earners and Consumers to share both positive and constructive feedback to each other
3. Establish policies that promote a safe & fair ecosystem
4. Grant visibility to Earners and Consumers to celebrate & promote more magical moments on the platform
What the Candidate Will Need / Bonus Points
---- What the Candidate Will Do ----
1. Build a vision: define a product vision for the team and identify near and long-term initiatives to build your product roadmap.
2. Align teams: work closely with cross-functional teams across Uber Verticals, Eng, Data Science, and Operations to align business and product strategy.
3. Execute: translate user needs and insights into product requirements by distilling user problems, writing hypotheses, and describing desired outcomes.
4. Iterate: distill insights from various data sources such as performance dashboards, experimentation results, and user research. Then apply the findings back into the product development process.
---- Basic Qualifications ----
1. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business Management or equivalent.
2. At least 4 years of experience, with 2+ years in Product
3. Experience working with design on complex UI/UX challenges.
4. Experience using data to drive strategic decisions. This is a complex problem space, requiring experience with experimentation and data-driven decision-making.
5. Excellent stakeholder management skills.

1. Experience thinking through core platform problems that scale to complex & nuanced use cases
