Textile Senior Merchandiser

Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Merchandiser at Tracon Export Services Pvt Ltd located in Gurugram. Looking for Sr.-level Merchandiser with Home Textile experience preferably from an Export House Minimum 10-12 years of experience required Experience in sample development and production process (yarn dyeing, power loom and autoloom weaving of fabrics, stitching, embroidery, beadwork, printing etc) Will assist Head Client Services in planning and controlling sample and production at their own and vendor locations. Good techno-commercial understanding to enable monitoring timely completion of production with relevant costing. Evaluating Testing and packaging requirements for all orders, ensuring compliance with buyer’s protocols. Time and quality management is a must Must have dealt with the Production centre at a distance and direct dealings with overseas buyers and buying agencies Must be willing to travel within India Qualifications Textile education is a must - (Diploma in Handloom & Textile Technology/ Diploma in Textile Technology/ B. Tech in Textile Engineering) Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel Good communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and contribute to team goals Knowledge of international markets, pricing, and sourcing Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems is a plus
