Key Responsibilities Install maintain and repair electrical wiring systems and fixtures in buildings and other structures Inspect electrical systems equipment and components to identify hazards defects or the need for repair Ensure compliance with electrical codes and safety standards e g NEC local regulations Diagnose malfunctioning systems apparatus and components using test equipment and hand tools Connect wires to circuit breakers transformers and other components Perform preventive maintenance on electrical panels lighting and power distribution systems Respond promptly to maintenance requests and electrical emergencies Maintain accurate records of repairs maintenance activities and parts used Ensure all work is completed safely on time and within budget Qualifications and Skills High school diploma or equivalent required Technical diploma or ITI certification in Electrical preferred Valid electrician license or certification if required by local law Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a full-time electrician Strong knowledge of electrical systems blueprints and schematic diagrams Ability to use electrical testing and repair tools safely and effectively Understanding of health and safety regulations Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently or as part of a team Job Type Full-time Pay 20 000 00 - 25 000 00 per month Work Location In person
