Student Recruitment Events Assistant Delhi IndiaReference number JR244312Location Delhi IndiaWorking pattern 9 30 a m 6 00 p m IST need to be flexible for coverage Contract Type PermanentNumber of roles 1Salary CompetitiveWe are looking for Student Recruitment Events Assistant to join our team As a Student Recruitment and Events Assistant you will be working as part of the Kaplan team which supports the University of Glasgows UofG Recruitment and International Relations team which is part of the UofG External Relations Directorate This Directorate of over 200 staff is responsible for attracting the very best students from across the UK and the world to the UofGs undergraduate and postgraduate courses This post sits within Kaplan but working closely with the UofGs International Recruitment and International Team and this team is responsible for meeting the challenging international KPIs as laid out in Global Glasgow It is also responsible for playing a major part in wider ambitions as laid out in Global Glasgow supporting the development of the Universitys network of partners across the world and working closely with external facilitators such as agents and government ministries This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate who is looking to expand their skills and build their career with an industry leader A detailed job description can be viewedIf the link does not work for you please copy and paste the following URL into your web browser What youll bring to the roleAbout you Degree level education in preferably English-speaking country Up to date knowledge of education systems and government policy in India Up to date knowledge of the UK Higher Education system and application systems e g UCAS Some knowledge of broader external international education market environment Working knowledge of databases Microsoft PowerPoint Excel Word and web-based research Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills Excellent analytic and problem-solving skills The ability to multi-task and act with discretion at all times A customer-centric approach to work The ability to work as part of a team Excellent time management administrative and organisational skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines and work under pressure Self-motivation and flexibility able to work under own direction and initiative with an ability to identify and resolve unforeseen issues and challenges Excellent Presentation skills experience in delivering presentations to large groups of stakeholders Comfortable operating in a fully English language work environment At least 3 years experience with the above qualifications or evidence of progression and development gained through 4 years relevant work experience Experience in a customer-facing role and a customer-focussed approach to Work Experience planning and organising events Experience of managing and processing data Your Responsibilities Lead and manage logistical arrangements Lead and execute a wide range of marketing agent support and pipeline management activities Represent and Promote the University to stakeholders Develop and Maintain excellent relationships Manage school newsletters and provide presentations Support wider team in maintaining the Universitys agency network in India Contribute to market research for India and South Asia Assist in the scholarship selection process Support advise on and execute when necessary compliance related activities What we doKaplan International Pathways a division of Kaplan Inc offers international students a wide range of flexible study options -
