Deeps Texstyles Private Limited, located in Kolkata, India, is an established apparel, accessories and bag manufacturing firm specializing in Organic and Fair-Trade Cotton Clothing, as well as conventional Cotton apparel for all age groups. Our production activities, including cutting, stitching, printing, and finishing, are conducted in-house, supported by state-of-the-art screen printing infrastructure. We are certified under GOTS for organic cotton, Flo-Cert for Fair-Trade cotton, regen agri and OEKOTEX Class 1 cotton products, we prioritize sustainability and social responsibility. Our factories comply with the Sedex SMETA, amfori BSCI and Fairwear Foundation, ensuring social responsibility and compliance.
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Merchandiser, located in Kolkata. The Senior Merchandiser will be responsible for managing client interactions, developing samples and production, ensuring end to end effective communication across teams, overseeing the sales and delivery of products, and enhancing sales. Daily tasks involve product pricing, sample development, sourcing of materials and trims, production monitoring, inventory management, and collaborating with the production teams to meet client specifications and delivery schedules.
Qualifications
- Strong communication skills.
- Proven leadership skills
- Experience with Knit and Woven Fabrics
- Experience with Apparel Production and Textile Supply chain
- Preferred education in Designing or Merchandising from a reputed institution,
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
