As a Two Star Export House, we proudly supply premium apparel to leading European brands.Position: Senior MerchandiserLocation: Kolkata, West BengalExperience: 8–20 years in Export Merchandising (preferably knits)Qualification: B.Tech / B.Sc / M.Sc / MBA in Textile, Apparel, Fashion or Related fieldJob DescriptionWe are seeking a Senior Merchandise Manager to lead our merchandising division. The ideal candidate will oversee a team of merchandisers, manage end-to-end operations, and ensure seamless coordination between buyers, production, and internal departments. This is a senior leadership role offering the opportunity to work with reputed international buyers and drive process excellence within a dynamic export setup. Key Responsibilities: • Lead end-to-end merchandising for garments • Ensure timely materials, trims, and approvals before PCD • Oversee sampling, bulk production, and quality standards • Coordinate with buyers, suppliers, and internal teams for smooth order flow • Track trims and accessories, production, and shipment schedules • Negotiate price, quality, and timelines effectively • Drive process improvements in the organization • Lead, guide, and develop a team of merchandisers and act as a mentor • Maintain strong, professional relationships with buyers and agentsSkill Required:Strong knowledge of fabric, trims & productionProven experience handling international clients, preferably EuropeanExcellent communication, coordination and negotiation skillsSkilled in leadership and team managementDetail-oriented, proactive, and strong in multi-taskingProficiency in MS Excel and General computer operations (windows environment)Experience handling international buyer portals (For order uploads, comments and approvals) Why Join Us:Lead merchandising for reputed global brands independently.Work with Eastern India’s only fully vertically integrated and most established export house with a global presence.Collaborate with a team driving innovation in apparel manufacturing.Remuneration: As per Industry standardSend Your CVEmail: contact@nmexports.co.in
