KONE Technology and Innovation Unit KTI is where the magic happens at KONE It s where we combine the physical world - escalators and elevators - with smart and connected digital systems We are changing and improving the way billions of people move within buildings every day We are on a mission to expand and develop new digital solutions that are based on emerging technologies KONE s vision is to create the Best People Flow experience by providing ease effectiveness and experience to our customers and users In line with our strategy Sustainable Success with Customers we will focus on increasing the value we create for customers with new intelligent solutions and embed sustainability even deeper across all of our operations By closer collaboration with customers and partners KONE will increase the speed of bringing new services and solutions to the market Roles and Responsibilities Work with design and development teams to understand product specifications and Requirements Develop Test plan Test Cases Test Environment and execute the test for Electrical Electronic at component and Subsystem level Set up and maintain test benches fixtures instruments and data acquisition systems Perform test data analysis and prepare comprehensive test reports and communicate results to cross-functional teams Design and develop advanced test setups fixtures and automated systems to improve test efficiency and accuracy Develop EMI EMC HALT Test plan for Elevator and Escalator products and coordinate with third party lab to execute the test and prepare the test reports Perform failure analysis and experiments to determine root cause of product failures at system and component levels and work with design and quality to drive corrective and preventive actions for continuous improvement Responsible for evaluating the manufacturing quality of PCB according to IPC-A-600 and IPC-A-610 Standard Responsible for maintaining 5S Safety work culture in Laboratory Required Technical Skill Set Strong knowledge of electrical electronics fundamentals analog digital power electronics embedded systems Proficient with test instruments oscilloscopes logic analyzers spectrum analyzers power supplies signal generators etc Experience with automated test systems PLC Programming scripting Python MATLAB or platforms such as NI LabVIEW Test Stand Solid understanding of testing standards and protocols IEC IEEE UL etc Familiarity with product development lifecycle processes Exposure to EMI EMC testing safety testing thermal and environmental testing is a plus Expertise in test planning test case design test execution and defect management Experience in test environment setup and debugging Required Tools Software Knowledge PLC NI Test stand and LabVIEW Test Management Tool Education with Specialization B E B Tech EEE ECE E I At KONE we are focused on creating an innovative and collaborative working culture where we value the contribution of each individual Employee engagement is a key focus area for us and we encourage participation and the sharing of information and ideas Sustainability is an integral part of our culture and the daily practice We follow ethical business practices and we seek to develop a culture of working together where co-workers trust and respect each other and good performance is recognized In being a great place to work we are proud to offer a range of experiences and opportunities that will help you to achieve your career and personal goals and enable you to live a healthy and balanced life Read more on
