What you'll do
- Phenom People is looking for a talented and motivated Product Quality Engineer I to join our Engineering team in Hyderabad, Telangana, India. This is a full-time position. As a Product Quality Engineer I, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining products and services. You will be involved in the design, development, and testing of new products and services. You will also be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving any issues that arise. To be successful in this role, you should have a strong background in engineering and product development. You should also have excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Work Experience
What you've done
- 2+ years of Software Development experience Hands on experience in both Manual and Automation testing. Writing and executing manual tests for web apps, desktop, and APIs.
- Knowledge of Functionality, Usability, Interface, Performance and Security testing.
- A keen eye to quickly find UI bugs related to padding, margin, pixel misalignments, etc.
- Understanding of web applications/website related issues.
- Experience with common bug tracking software such MS Office, Jira, Bugzilla, etc.
- JavaScript or Java programming experience to write test code.
- Knowledge of Postman tool
- Experience in UI and API automation
- Experience/Exposure in performance testing and Apache JMeter will be big plus.
- Monitor the Automation runs for failures if any and report Defects for the failures in the automation run.
- Knowledge of Git, GitHub/TFS, and Jenkins.
- Coordinate and communicate with developers on bug fixes and required modifications.
Education
- Engineering Graduates / Post-Graduates from premier institutions are preferred. Graduates from IIT, BITS, & NIT are preferred.
