JD for SCM Team Lead - BESS Project ExecutionWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Supply Chain Management SCM TeamLead to join our dynamic team and play a critical role in the successful execution of BatteryEnergy Storage Systems BESS projects This role will be responsible for leading andmanaging all aspects of the procurement and logistics processes for BESS projects ensuringtimely delivery and cost-effective solutions Key Responsibilities xefx82xb7 Procurement Strategy Planning o Develop and implement procurement strategies for BESS projects includingidentifying and qualifying potential suppliers o Conduct market research and analysis to identify competitive pricing andsourcing options o Prepare and manage procurement plans including RFQs RFPs and tenders o Negotiate contracts with suppliers ensuring favorable terms and conditions xefx82xb7 Supplier Management o Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers o Monitor supplier performance and address any quality or delivery issues o Conduct regular supplier evaluations and identify areas for improvement xefx82xb7 Logistics Transportation o Plan and manage the logistics and transportation of BESS equipment andmaterials o Coordinate with freight forwarders and customs brokers to ensure timely andefficient delivery o Manage inventory levels and optimize warehouse space xefx82xb7 Risk Management o Identify and mitigate potential supply chain risks such as delays disruptions and price fluctuations o Develop and implement contingency plans to address potential challenges xefx82xb7 Team Leadership Management o Lead and mentor a team of procurement and logistics specialists o Foster a collaborative and high-performing work environment o Delegate tasks effectively and provide regular feedback to team members xefx82xb7 Project Coordination o Collaborate closely with project managers engineers and other stakeholdersto ensure seamless project execution o Provide timely updates on procurement and logistics progress o Resolve any supply chain-related issues that may arise during projectexecution xefx82xb7 Cost Control o Monitor project costs related to procurement and logistics o Identify and implement cost-saving measures o Prepare and track project budgets Qualifications xefx82xb7 Bachelor s degree in Supply Chain Management Logistics or a related field xefx82xb7 8 years of experience in supply chain management within the energy sector with astrong preference for experience with BESS projects xefx82xb7 Proven experience in procurement planning contract negotiation and suppliermanagement xefx82xb7 Strong understanding of international trade and customs regulations xefx82xb7 Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills xefx82xb7 Proficiency in procurement software and ERP systems xefx82xb7 Strong leadership communication and interpersonal skills xefx82xb7 Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple projectssimultaneously Desired Skills xefx82xb7 Master s degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field xefx82xb7 Experience with green energy technologies and sustainability initiatives xefx82xb7 Knowledge of industry-specific certifications e g APICS CSCP xefx82xb7 Experience with project management methodologies xefx82xb7 Proficiency in a foreign language
