Job Title Area Service Manager - Printer ProductionLocation Goregaon MumbaiDepartment Service and SupportReports to Regional Service ManagerPosition Type Full-timeJob Summary The Area Service Manager for Printer Production at Konica Minolta is responsible for managing service operations within the assigned area This role involves overseeing service technicians ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining service quality for Konica Minolta s printer products The Area Service Manager will be the primary point of contact for customers and will work to enhance service delivery and operational efficiency Key Responsibilities Service Management Oversee all service activities within the assigned area ensuring timely and effective resolution of customer issues Team Leadership Lead mentor and manage a team of service technicians Provide training support and performance evaluations to ensure high-quality service delivery Customer Support Act as the primary contact for customers in the area addressing service-related inquiries resolving complaints and ensuring overall customer satisfaction Quality Assurance Ensure all service activities comply with company standards and industry regulations Monitor service quality and implement improvements as necessary Inventory Management Oversee the management of spare parts and tools inventory to ensure service readiness and minimize downtime Technical Support Provide technical assistance and guidance to service technicians Stay updated on the latest product developments and troubleshooting techniques Service Planning Develop and implement service plans and schedules to meet customer needs and improve service efficiency Reporting Prepare regular reports on service activities performance metrics and customer feedback Present findings to the Regional Service Manager and suggest improvements Compliance Ensure compliance with all company policies safety standards and regulatory requirements Cost Control Monitor and manage service-related costs to ensure budget adherence and cost-effectiveness Qualifications Education Bachelors degree in Engineering Electronics IT or a related field Experience Minimum of 5 years of experience in service management with at least 2 years in a supervisory role within the printer production or related industry Skills Strong leadership and team management abilities Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills Proficiency in diagnosing and resolving technical issues related to printer production Effective communication and interpersonal skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure Proficiency in service management software and Microsoft Office Suite Certifications Relevant certifications in printer maintenance and repair are a plus Personal Attributes Customer-Focused Commitment to providing excellent customer service and building strong customer relationships Detail-Oriented High attention to detail and commitment to service quality Proactive Proactive approach to identifying and addressing service issues Organized Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines Adaptable Flexibility to adapt to changing service demands and priorities Benefits Competitive salary and performance-based bonuses Health dental and vision insurance Retirement plan with company match Paid time off and holidays Professional development and training opportunities
