Experience : 10+ Years Location : Sector-44, Gurugram, Haryana, India Employment Type : Permanent About The Role We're looking for a highly experienced and dedicated QA Lead with a strong background in the banking and fintech domains to spearhead our quality assurance efforts. In this pivotal role, you'll lead and manage the entire QA process for our critical banking applications, ensuring their robustness, reliability, and compliance with industry standards. The ideal candidate will bring extensive hands-on experience in test planning, execution, automation, and a proven ability to lead and mentor a team of QA engineers. Key Responsibilities - QA Leadership & Strategy : Lead all QA efforts across multiple complex banking and fintech projects. Define, implement, and continuously refine comprehensive test strategies, test plans, and detailed test cases. - Team Management : Manage, mentor, and guide a team of QA engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment. Ensure timely project delivery and adherence to quality benchmarks. - Cross-Functional Coordination : Act as a primary liaison, coordinating seamlessly with developers, business analysts, project managers, and various stakeholders to ensure smooth QA operations and alignment with business objectives. - Compliance & Security : Ensure all banking applications and testing processes strictly comply with relevant regulatory requirements (e.g., RBI guidelines) and stringent security standards inherent to the banking domain. - Automation & Performance Driving : Drive significant automation initiatives, identifying opportunities for test automation and implementing robust automation frameworks (e.g., using Selenium). Oversee and execute performance testing as needed, identifying bottlenecks and ensuring application scalability. - Process Improvement : Champion best practices in software testing, contributing to the continuous improvement of QA processes, tools, and methodologies within an Agile framework. Key Skills & Qualifications Domain Expertise (Mandatory) : Strong in-depth knowledge of banking applications and workflows, including but not limited to retail banking, corporate banking, digital banking platforms, payment systems, core banking, and financial instruments. Testing Expertise - Proven expertise in various manual testing techniques. - Extensive hands-on experience with test automation frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright). - Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner). - Hands-on experience with popular testing and project management tools like Jira, ALM (Application Lifecycle Management), TestRail, Confluence, etc. - Solid understanding and practical experience with SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle), STLC (Software Testing Life Cycle), and Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban). - Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical issues clearly and influence stakeholders. - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail and identifying critical issues.
