Maintenance Technician Assistant

Job Title Maintenance Technician Department Maintenance Engineering Reports To Maintenance Supervisor Manager Location Angamaly Job Type Full-Time Job Summary The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing routine maintenance troubleshooting and repairs on equipment machinery and facilities to ensure optimal operational efficiency and safety This role involves both preventive and corrective maintenance tasks across electrical mechanical and building systems Key Responsibilities Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on machinery systems and equipment Diagnose issues with mechanical electrical plumbing or HVAC systems and perform repairs as needed Respond to emergency maintenance requests promptly Maintain maintenance logs and report any recurring issues or needed upgrades Replace or repair defective parts using hand tools and power tools Assist with the installation of new equipment or systems Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and standards Collaborate with other departments to minimize downtime and production delays Keep work areas clean safe and organized Monitor inventory of maintenance supplies and notify supervisor of shortages Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent technical school or trade certification preferred Proven experience as a maintenance technician or in a similar role Strong knowledge of electrical hydraulic mechanical and HVAC systems Ability to read technical manuals blueprints and schematics Good problem-solving and organizational skills Basic computer skills for logging maintenance and accessing documentation Physical stamina and dexterity ability to lift and carry heavy items and work in tight spaces Familiarity with safety standards and regulations e g OSHA Preferred Skills troubleshooting industrial maintenance experience control system experience Working Conditions Work may involve exposure to noise dust heat or hazardous materials May require shift work weekend availability or on-call responsibilities Use of PPE Personal Protective Equipment is required Job Type Full-time Pay 22 000 00 - 25 000 00 per month Experience plant maintenance electrician 4 years Preferred Location Angamali Kerala Preferred Work Location In person
