Techwave we are always in an exercise to foster a culture of growth and inclusivity We ensure whoever is associated with the brand is being challenged at every step and is provided with all the necessary opportunities to excel in life People are at the core of everything we do Join us Who are we Techwave is a leading global IT and engineering services and solutions company revolutionizing digital transformations We believe in enabling clients to maximize the potential and achieve a greater market with a wide array of technology services including but not limited to Enterprise Resource Planning Application Development Analytics Digital and the Internet of things IoT Founded in 2004 headquartered in Houston TX USA Techwave leverages its expertise in Digital Transformation Enterprise Applications and Engineering Services to enable businesses accelerate their growth Plus we re a team of dreamers and doers who are pushing the boundaries of what s possible And we want YOU to be a part of it Job Title Network Security Lead Experience 7 Mode of Hire Fulltime Position Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Network Security Lead to join our team The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with network security architectures secure configurations and advanced security tools As a Network Security Lead you will be responsible for designing implementing and managing our network security infrastructure to ensure the highest level of protection against cyber threats Key Responsibilities Design and implement secure network architectures LAN WAN VPN SD-WAN firewalls etc Lead the configuration maintenance and monitoring of network security devices e g firewalls IDS IPS NAC systems proxies Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define security requirements and integrate security controls into new and existing systems Configure security for cloud hybrid network security platforms AWS Azure GCP VMX Design secure VPC VNet NSGs SGs WAFs and cloud firewalls Set up hybrid networks and utilize cloud-based security tools Serve as the point of contact SPOC for annual vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on network infrastructure Monitor network traffic for anomalies investigate incidents and respond to threats in a timely manner Identify contain and mitigate network breaches Write incident reports and post-mortem documentation Ensure compliance with internal security policies industry standards and regulatory requirements e g ISO 27001 NIST GDPR Maintain documentation playbooks and procedures for network security operations Mentor and guide junior team members and provide technical leadership Engage with vendors for technology evaluations and implementations Qualifications Education Bachelor s degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field Relevant certificates e g CCNA CCSP CompTIA Network m CompTIA Security are highly desirable Experience A minimum of 7 years of experience in network Security with at least 3 years in Lead or supervisory role Technical Skills Expertise in configuring and managing firewalls e g Palo Alto Fortinet In-depth knowledge of TCP IP DNS VPN VLANs IPSec and routing protocols Proficient with network monitoring and security tools e g Wireshark SolarWinds Splunk Snort Experience with cloud platforms AWS Azure and hybrid security models Familiarity with Zero Trust Architecture and SASE models Preferred Certifications Certified Network Defender CND - Network defense traffic analysis firewall configuration CompTIA Security - General cybersecurity network security fundamentals Fortinet NSE 1-3 - Entry-level understanding of Fortinet products and network security concepts Fortinet NSE 4-6 - Deployment and management of Fortinet security solutions FortiGate firewall management secure fabric deployment Fortinet NSE 7-8 - Advanced enterprise Fortinet security architecture Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer PCNSE - Palo Alto firewall deployment configuration security platform usage Microsoft Certified Security Compliance and Identity Fundamentals - Cloud and hybrid network security on Azure
