and production activities The ideal candidate has proven experience in optimizing production workflows managing resources and leading a team to meet and exceed production targets You will be responsible for ensuring that all manufactured goods meet quality standards are produced efficiently and adhere to health and safety regulations Key responsibilitiesSafety and compliance Enforce and maintain health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment at all times Production planning Plan and manage production schedules assessing project and resource requirements to ensure timely delivery of products Operational oversight Oversee the entire production process monitoring workflow and adjusting resources as needed to improve efficiency and productivity Quality control Determine and enforce quality control standards ensuring that all products meet company and industry specifications Team leadership Supervise train and motivate production staff setting performance goals and evaluating team performance to foster a high-performance culture Inventory management Manage raw material inventory coordinate with suppliers and implement measures to prevent shortages or overstocking Budgeting and cost control Estimate costs and prepare production budgets implementing cost-saving strategies where possible to maintain budgetary control Maintenance Organize the repair and routine maintenance of production equipment to ensure its smooth and reliable operation Reporting and analysis Collect and analyze production data preparing performance reports for management and identifying areas for continuous improvement Collaboration Liaise with other departments such as SCM sales and quality assurance to align production with broader business objectives Required skills and qualificationsBachelor s degree in Industrial Engineering Mechanical Operations Management or a related field Proven experience as a Production Manager or in a similar leadership role within a manufacturing environment Deep knowledge of production management principles quality standards and health and safety regulations Strong leadership team management and problem-solving abilities Excellent communication and interpersonal skills both verbal and written Proficiency with ERP software and production management tools Ability to analyze data and prepare performance reports Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma is a plus Work environment and scheduleThe role is typically based in a manufacturing facility Work hours
