Odoo Specialist

Position Title: Odoo Specialist

Department: IT / ERP Support

Reports To: IT Manager

Location: JAMS Head Office

Job Summary:

The Odoo Specialist will be responsible for testing system updates, confirming functionality, supporting staff with Odoo-related issues, fixing system errors, and handling regular data backups.

Key Responsibilities:

- Test and confirm all Odoo system updates before they go live.
- Provide direct support to staff for any Odoo issues.
- Fix errors in the system or escalate to developers if needed.
- Monitor and maintain system performance.
- Perform regular data backups and ensure data security.
- Document issues, updates, and resolutions.
- Coordinate with the operation and development team for smooth system operations.

Requirements:

- Good experience using or managing Odoo (functional level).
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve system problems.
- Familiar with business workflows (sales, HR, inventory, etc.).
- Basic technical knowledge (Python, XML, or database is a plus).
- Organized, reliable, and good at communicating with non-technical users.
