Role Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Application Support Engineer to join our PLM Ops production support team. This role is critical to ensuring the stability, performance, and scalability of our Teamwork Cloud (TWC) and MSOSA environments, which serve as the backbone of our model-based systems engineering (MBSE) workflows.
The individual will be responsible for monitoring, maintaining, and optimizing these platforms, enabling seamless collaboration across engineering teams, and supporting the transition of MBSE applications into business-as-usual (BAU) support.
Dimension of Function
· Ensure proactive monitoring and maintenance of TWC.
· Enable understanding of business process, usage patterns, adoption to support refinement of application.
· Provide faster response to system issues, minimizing downtime.
· Support continuous improvement in configuration of app leading to improved performance.
· Support archiving and help with reducing the volume of data.

Area of Responsibility
· TWC Installation & Configuration : Set up and manage TWC environments, repositories, and permissions.
· User & Access Management : Handle LDAP/SSO integration, Active Directory, and custom onboarding tools.
· Performance Monitoring & Optimization : Monitor server health, fine-tune configurations, and prevent bottlenecks.
· Backup & Disaster Recovery : Implement and validate backup and restore strategies.
· Upgrades & Patch Management : Apply updates and patches with minimal disruption.
· Troubleshooting & Incident Resolution : Diagnose sync errors, repository conflicts, and connectivity issues.
· MBSE Repository Management : Support project structuring, baseline management, and merge operations.
· Model Integrity & Compliance : Enforce modeling standards and run validation checks.
· Integration Support : Maintain links with Cameo Collaborator, PLM systems, and APIs.
· Change & Configuration Control : Support version control and traceability processes.
Knowledge / Experience
Essential:
· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
· 9-12 years of experience in application support or systems engineering
· Hands-on experience with MBSE tools (e.g., Cameo, TWC, MSOSA)
· Strong understanding of PLM systems and enterprise integrations
· Proficiency in LDAP, SSO, Active Directory, and API-based automation
· Excellent problem-solving and incident management skills
· Strong communication and stakeholder coordination abilities
· Ability to use Microsoft Office 365 products and Microsoft Teams
Desirable:
· Experience in high-availability production environments
· Familiarity with DevOps practices and monitoring tools
· Ability to work independently and take ownership of critical systems
· Passion for continuous improvement and operational excellence
