ITSM Consultant – ServiceNow (CIS-ITSM Certified)

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced IT Service Management (ITSM) professional with strong expertise in ServiceNow. The candidate must hold the ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist – IT Service Management (CIS-ITSM) certification and have proven hands-on experience in implementing, configuring, and supporting ServiceNow ITSM modules.

Key Responsibilities

- Implement, configure, and customize ServiceNow ITSM modules including Incident, Problem, Change, Request, Knowledge, CMDB, and Service Catalog.
- Work with stakeholders to gather requirements, translate them into technical solutions, and deliver high-quality implementations.
- Ensure ITSM processes align with ITIL best practices and business needs.
- Conduct workshops, prepare design documents, and provide end-user training/documentation.
- Perform system testing, integration, and support during UAT/production rollout.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for upgrades, enhancements, and integrations with third-party systems.
- Provide post-implementation support and continuous service improvements.

Required Qualifications & Skills

- ServiceNow CIS-ITSM certification (mandatory).
- Strong understanding of ITIL framework and ITSM processes.
- 3–6 years of hands-on ServiceNow implementation/configuration experience.
- Experience with Workflows, Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, Catalog Items, and Integrations.
- Good communication and client-facing skills for requirement gathering and solution workshops.
- Ability to troubleshoot, resolve issues, and provide ongoing support.

Preferred Skills

- ServiceNow certifications beyond CIS-ITSM (CSA, CAD, CIS in other modules).
- Experience in CMDB design & discovery, automation, or ITOM modules.
- Exposure to Agile/DevOps environments.
