Department DetailsRole SummaryUtility maintenanceKey ResponsibilitiesTo maintain minimum breakdown time and ensure the maximum availability of Equipment for production usage Responsible for the maintenance of water system Utility and HVAC Equipment Adherence to Preventive Maintenance and calibration schedule To ensure no data integrity related issues by self and with the team members To maintain the layouts and drawings related to Engineering department Follow the established procedures and policies of the company Costing and Budgeting for the department To ensure all the legal requirements are met and initiate suitable action in the event of discrepancy noted if any Co-ordination for audits Internal and external related to Engineering and QMS Ensure all the audit findings are closed within the stipulated time Non-conforming products and corrective actions - implementation as suggested by Quality Assurance Documentation and data control Adherence to standard operating procedures Safety cGMP cGLP GDP GEP and EHS requirements Implementation of cGMP Implementation of energy conservation measures Identification of training needs in the department Recruitment of Engineering and Maintenance personnel Ensure safe working environment for the employees Inventory management Ensure all equipment s are operated and maintained as per manufacturer s recommendation Planning and procurement of spares and consumables Planning and execution of different types of maintenance of equipment and its accessories in co-ordination with users Decision making on priorities Delegate the roles and responsibilities in the department Preparation of equipment qualification Preparation and reviewing documents records related to Engineering and QMS Monitoring of the projects initiated from the department on regular basis Training Evaluation of the personnel Approval of specific equipment for use Issue of work permits Issue of gate pass Educational QualificationsRequired Education Qualification B E Required Experience 5 - 10 years
