Job Title Assistant Manager - Factory Production Operations Location Mankoli Bhiwandi Department Production Manufacturing Reporting To Factory Manager Operations Head Job Summary The Assistant Manager - Factory Production is responsible for supervising day-to-day factory operations ensuring smooth production workflows and driving efficiency across departments The role involves close coordination with production teams quality control maintenance and logistics to meet output targets A key responsibility is the development and implementation of clear Standard Operating Procedures SOPs to standardize processes and enhance productivity safety and accountability Key Responsibilities Production Oversight Monitor daily production activities across all departments and ensure adherence to production schedules Coordinate with planning design and procurement teams for seamless material flow and timely output Resolve on-ground issues and bottlenecks to maintain continuous operations Process Optimization Analyze current manufacturing processes and identify areas for improvement in terms of cost quality and efficiency Introduce lean manufacturing practices to minimize wastage and downtime Ensure all machines and resources are utilized optimally SOP Development Draft review and implement SOPs for each stage of production handling storage quality checks and dispatch Conduct periodic reviews and updates to SOPs based on changes in process or technology Train factory staff and supervisors on SOP adherence and monitor implementation Team Management Coordination Lead and supervise the production floor workforce including supervisors operators and contract labor Maintain discipline morale and productivity among team members Coordinate with maintenance and safety teams for timely repairs and compliance Quality Compliance Ensure quality control standards are maintained throughout the production process Support the QC department in implementing corrective actions for quality deviations Adhere to health safety and environmental regulations within the factory Reporting Documentation Maintain production reports material usage logs machine efficiency records and manpower productivity data Generate daily weekly monthly MIS reports for higher management Key Skills Competencies Strong understanding of factory operations production workflows and manpower management Experience in drafting and implementing SOPs Knowledge of manufacturing processes material handling and industrial safety Strong leadership problem-solving and interpersonal skills Proficiency in MS Excel ERP systems and production planning tools Qualifications Experience Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Production Industrial Engineering or relevant discipline 5-8 years of experience in a factory or manufacturing setup with at least 2 years in a supervisory or assistant managerial role Experience in building material aluminium fabrication facade or metal fabrication industry preferred Job Type Full-time Pay 20 000 00 - 35 000 00 per month Benefits Leave encashment Provident Fund Schedule Day shift Fixed shift Monday to Friday Supplemental Pay Yearly bonus Work Location In person
