Supply Chain ManagerPosition Supply Chain ManagerLocation KolkataDepartment Supply Chain LogisticsJob Summary We are looking for an experienced Supply Chain Manager to optimize supply chain operations reduce costs ensure timely delivery manage risks and strengthen supplier relationships The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing production planning procurement logistics and inventory management Key Responsibilities Optimize supply chain operations and reduce costs Plan materials hardware and resource requirements Manage procurement and place purchase orders Oversee production planning and scheduling Manage logistics and inventory control Conduct technical discussions with sales teams and senior management CEO GM Handle packing inspection and quality assurance Coordinate with factory managers and contractors for production execution Prepare reports on finished goods and inventory Attend and contribute to weekly production meetings Conduct regular factory visits at least twice a week Oversee incoming and outgoing inspections Maintain quality assurance QA files and key documents Update sales teams on production and delivery schedules Analyze and optimize production processes for efficiency Implement continuous improvement strategies Monitor key performance metrics and suggest improvements Key Performance Indicators KPIs On-time delivery rate Inventory turnover Supply chain cost as a percentage of revenue Order accuracy rate Supplier reliability Lead time reduction Freight cost per unit Compliance rate Sustainability metrics Minimum Qualifications Experience Education Graduation Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management Business or a related field preferred Experience 4-7 years of experience in Purchase Management within the Building Materials Industry Required Skills Soft Skills Problem-Solving Decision-Making Negotiation Communication Leadership Adaptability Critical Thinking Time Management Conflict Resolution and Strategic Planning Hard Skills Proficiency in Excel Basic to Advanced MS Office Word PowerPoint and Project Management PERT CPM Preferred Attributes Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines Proactive and solution-oriented approach Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills
